Miriani

Miriani is a great online game I play. You need a mud client like MonkeyTerm or Vip Mud, just to name a few. You connect to a central location called a server, and off you go. The website for this great game is http://www.toastsoft.com The server address is toastsoft.com and the port number is 1234. What is Miriani exactly? Well, it's a space game you play with other players, or by yourself, depending on what types of activities you engage in. I ppersonally love to salvage for debris, go on missions to fight enemy ships, and go out of local space to collect alien artifacts. You earn credits, which is the type of currency in the game.I've been playing for over four months. I have five ships, two of which are fully upgraded. You have several methods of communicating with the other players. One way, is over the communication channel which are: chatter, general, newbie, and the various alliance channels. You also have private links which you establish with individual players. These are especially helpful if you want to speak out of character. Out of character means real life stuff... things that happen outside the game. If someone asked over the chatter channel "how do I power up my ship", you couldn't reply "type the word power". That is out of character. You have to respond and say "push the power button". It took me a little while to get used to that. I have never played an RPG game before, so I was a little confused at first. The only thing that makes Miriani a bad game to play is the occasional loser who may try to stun you or take your ships away from you and demand money for their return. Those people are called "pirates". I dislike them very much. Well, that's enough about Miriani for now. I'll be speaking more about it in the future along with lots of other things I enjoy doing every day so stay tuned.

greetings

My name is Matt. I'm 31, and I am totally blind. I live in West Virginia. I'm married with two children. Alexander is the oldest at three years of age. Brian is the youngest at fourteen months. My wife's name is Jeanne. She is twenty-five-years-old. She likes to tease me and tells me I'm old, but she's really not that far behind. I am getting used to this blog, so if there are any mistakes, it's just me feeling my way around this new place.
